The Auld Lang Syne was snowy but with a bit of sun. There were 3 ft deep drifts near the top which was like running in granulated sugar! No results yet but a few hardy seniors completed the course.
A few club members also ran in the Silsden new year race, where Emma Spencer came 2nd lady, despite suffering from stitch. This is a road race for fell runners and despite the fun run status has some class athletes competing. Everyone went home with a bramley apple, running socks (some very large!) and a gift from Santa’s sack.
