Stanbury Splash and Quarry runs – 24th Jan
Eleven Pendle juniors ran this race on a cold and damp morning on the hills above Haworth. Pride of place went to Ruby Schofield and Briony Holt who finished 1st and 2nd in the U8 fun run. There were around 140 juniors in total, not bad for a Sunday morning.
Sam Richards and Paul ran the senior race which is very scenic and conditions were ideal. The only drawback was that Paul could see the leaders some considerable distance away on the skyline at a few points in the race.
