A number of Club members missed Wednesday night training and competed at the Widdop fell race.  The course is a tough one, with narrow moorland paths and some very boggy sections on the senior race.

The evening saw two first places and one second place demonstrating what a strong player the Club is becoming in junior fell racing.

Alex Baker won a gold medal for her first place in the U10s girls coming an impressive 3rd overall.  This was followed by Thomas Marchant winning the U12s.  James Marchant had another good run to come 2nd in the U14s.

Next race is tonight (Thursday 21st July) for a cross country at Gargrave and then a Bofra championship race at Cracoe on Sunday.  Anyone can just turn up and enter on the day for these races.
