On Monday this week (27.6.16) the East Lancashire Primary Schools Cross Country Final took place at Towneley Park. There were 160 runners in the boys race and two Pendle Athletic Club Members, Kitt Nelson and Kaylon Cotterill, finished in 13th and 19th place respectively. There were 25 boys and 25 girls from Pendle who were invited to take part and the top 6 scores in each counted towards the team event. Both Kitt and Kaylon’s scores counted and the Pendle Boys took Gold. A big well done to Kitt and Kaylon – you are a credit to our Club and your schools.
