Steve, who I have known for the past three years through Gregan competing in the Combined Events, has approached me to promote his fundraising page for the London Marathon this year.
‘I have chosen to raise money for Cancer Research UK in memory of Sheila Markendale, who sadly passed away in August 2016. Sheila was a very good friend who I volunteered with at Lancashire Schools’ Athletics Association. I learned so much from her about schools athletics and she inspired me to get involved with team management for Lancashire Schools. Sheila’s passion and enthusiasm for athletics was huge and she will be missed by so many young people who competed at county and national level in cross country, track and field and combined events.’

Lancashire AA & Lancashire Schools AA Combined Events Championships – 15th & 16th April 2017
02.03.17Please see the link below for the above Championships. There were quite a few young athletes who did this last year and previous years and all really enjoy the day. Indoor Training Notice
07.02.17Fisher More Indoor Training.
Fisher More closes for half-term on Friday, 10 February for one week.
The final indoor session at Fisher More will be on Monday, 6 March, a week earlier than anticipated as the hall is needed for mock exams for the week beginning 13 March.
